Job Description Summary The Technical Coordinator is an entry-level professional and a key member of the Technical Operations Team. This role supports the operation, maintenance, and coordination of shared research and instructional facilities. Working under the guidance of the Program Manager and Director of Technical Operations, the Technical Coordinator assists with laboratory projects, facility coordination, inventory management, and safety compliance efforts. This position is well-suited for a recent graduate seeking hands-on experience in a research and technical environment. The Technical Coordinator for the Institute for Research and Applied Physics is an integral member of the Technical Facilities Team reporting to the Program Manager. Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Travel to other buildings on and off campus (attend meetings, pick up/drop off packages, which may be heavy and require the use of carts, etc.). The incumbent may assist in the setup for meetings and events that may require moving furniture.
