Job description

The Brotherhood Crusade Life Skills & Entrepreneur Trainer will educate, inform and guide Youth and Young Adults enrolled in our YouthSource Center. The incumbent will be charged to train and provide in- and out-of- classroom settings that cause young people to value, aspire to and fully adopt attitudes, behaviors and beliefs that facilitate their current and future success in school and in life. This includes providing a curriculum that fosters creativity, critical thinking, problem solving, decision making and the ability to effectively communicate along with personal and social responsibility that will contribute to good citizenship. Specifically, the Life Skills & Entrepreneur Trainer shall cause 14-29 year old South Los Angeles County young people (with an emphasis on individuals who present with barriers to employment) to successfully graduate from Brotherhood Crusade’s workforce development program, which includes Brotherhood Crusade’s Stepwise Employment Experiences pathway, and be well-prepared to secure, thrive in, advance in and sustain employment in a living wage or more highly-compensated career or entrepreneurship.
