Description In October 2018, the University of Michigan Biosciences Initiative (https://biosciences.umich.edu) provided funding establishing the Michigan Concussion Center (https://concussion.umich.edu). The Michigan Concussion Center implements a multidisciplinary approach to answer fundamental questions about concussion prevention, identification, diagnosis, management, and outcomes. The Michigan Concussion Center is conducting an open rank search for two Assistant Professors and one Associate/Full Professor in distinct research specialties to engage with the Center by collaborating with existing faculty and staff. Applicants’ research should principally focus on concussion driven by the potential for or existing sustainable multidisciplinary external funding. Successful candidates may be placed in one or more of the University of Michigan’s 19 independent schools or colleges, (home to 260 degree programs) which places significant value on innovation and collaboration across disciplines.
