Facility Maintenance Engineer

Job description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Perform skilled building maintenance and repairs, including carpentry, plumbing, painting, drywall work, flooring repairs, and door/window maintenance. - Conduct preventive maintenance and minor repairs on Legends Global equipment, fixtures, and machinery. - Support the Director of Operations in planning, coordinating, and executing facility‑wide maintenance and capital improvement projects, including internal initiatives. - Assist the Director with budgeting, procurement, and inventory management to support operational needs. - Coordinates shutdown and start-ups of utilities and equipment when conditions require it. - Help develop, organize, and prioritize departmental task lists while training and mentoring GMT team members. - Perform routine and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems and lighting control systems. - Complete assigned work orders and ensure all documentation is accurate, thorough, and submitted in a timely manner. - Perform other duties as assigned to support facility operations.
