Description POSITION DESCRIPTION: Title: Impact Specialist I, South County - [40 hours/week – full benefits] Work Schedule: Full-time, non-exempt; generally to be scheduled up to 40 hrs/week, between 7:00 am-6:00 pm, Monday-Friday; with monthly Saturday meetings; and 7:00 am–6:00 pm during Intersession Program. Occasional evenings and weekends for field trips and special events. Reports to: South County Program Coordinator BGCMC MISSION: “Our Mission is to inspire and empower the youth of Monterey County to realize their full potential to become responsible, healthy, productive and successful citizens.” PRIMARY FUNCTION: Under the direction of the South County Program Coordinator, the Impact Specialist drives youth success through outstanding, Mission-driven and integrity-centered leadership and management of school site programming in South County. They accomplish this by engaging youth in age-appropriate and outcome-driven programs. This includes ensuring a safe, positive, fun and impactful environment that engages hundreds of diverse youth, ages 6 to 18 years old.
