Type of Requisition: Regular Clearance Level Must Currently Possess: None Clearance Level Must Be Able to Obtain: None Public Trust/Other Required: None Job Family: SCA Skills: Pipe Fittings, Piping, Piping Systems Certifications: None Experience: 1 + years of related experience US Citizenship Required: Yes Job Description: Pipefitter - Applies basic pipefitting processes to join, surface, fabricate, repair, or replace piping systems (e.g., steel, cuni). - Works from blueprints, engineering sketches, charts, or work orders. - Uses measuring tools and related equipment to target and fit piping. - Sil-brazes cuni pipe. - May inspect completed work for conformance to specifications. - Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures. - Participates in special projects, as required." Education: (1) Requires a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work experience (2) Technical or vocational training preferred Experience: 1-3 years of related pipefitting experience.
