A Day in Your Life at MKS: As an Manufacturing Engineer at MKS Inc, you will partner with Production, Maintenance, Customer Support, Supply Chain, Logistic and other departments. In this role, you will report to the Senior Manager Manufacturing Engineer. Principal Responsibilities: Design of tools and devices specific to manufacturing of optical elements (from taking over the request for tools to the design of new or modified tools); Discussing the execution drawings, requirements and technical issues with the project supervisor; Realization of technical drawings for tools and devices using SolidWorks (or other specific software programs like Synline/Optotool software), being used in obtaining optical products; Maintaining the SAP ERP system for tracking changes in the Engineering system (ECO, ECR); Use of the SAP ERP system to create and maintain materials (material master), manufacturing networks (BOM's), routing operations, production versions and storage files (DMS). Creating a product catalog (including classification) or a product history in order to have all the designs and technologies stored; Actively participating to MKS organization and processes improvement culture ( id...
