Essential Functions Summary: The Paint Helper will be responsible for assisting the paint department with various tasks. This position will assist with the preparation, application, and cleanup of commercial paint projects. Accountabilities: Assist with the execution of painting under the supervision of more experienced staff Perform basic paint skills such as masking, application, scraping, sanding, and cleaning Make sure each building is sealed and weatherproof Examine any painted surfaces for defects and help touch up or correct any imperfections as needed Maintain tools and equipment used while also maintaining a clean workspace Follow all safety guidelines and regulations, including the proper use of PPE, such as gloves, goggles, masks, and respirators, to ensure a safe working environment Other job-related responsibilities as assigned.
