Job DetailsJob Location: Beresford, SD 57004Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $20.00 - $23.00 HourlyJob Shift: FirstThe HR Assistant role performs a variety of administrative duties for plant management and the HR department, to ensure efficient plant operations, while maintaining safe work practices. This role reports to the Plant Manager. Key Responsibilities: Help manage time and attendance, making sure timecards are reviewed and approved on time, and working with payroll to fix any issues. Support employee training by coordinating LMS access, new hire orientation, and required trainings. Handle workers’ compensation tasks, including paperwork, tracking claims, and helping with return-to-work and modified duty. Coordinate pre-employment steps like physicals, drug screens, and onboarding requirements. Lead new hire onboarding at the site, making sure all paperwork is completed correctly, including I-9s. Assist with benefits administration by helping employees with questions, new hire enrollment, and open enrollment activities.
