About the Role Our Beef City Feedlot team is currently recruiting a multiskilled Feedyard Maintenance Hand to join the Maintenance team in a full-time capacity. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, this role would best suit someone who has previous experience working on a station or feedlot, as it will require you to work as part of a small team carrying out a variety of maintenance related tasks including welding, water supply and livestock containment. Your key responsibilities will include: - Carrying out general maintenance tasks and fault finding - Erecting steel yard fencing including setting fence posts in concrete, welding and running fencing cables - Repairing and maintaining steel yard fencing - Repairing and maintaining plumbing and pumping systems - Carrying out basic concrete works and repairs - Liaising and working with contractors - Complying with company policies and procedures - Working safely to prevent injuries and lost time - Additional tasks as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor or Feedlot Manager About You: - Proven experience working in a similar maintenance role (ideally 2+ years) - Proven experience in yard building - Proven experience in plumbing a...
