Department: 36303 Advocate Christ Medical Center - Radiology Status: Part time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hou rs Per Week: 28 Schedule Details/Additional Information: First shift .7 FTE position typical start time between 630am and 9am. Every other weekend rotation. Holidays include 1 summer shift and 1 winter shift. Minimum call required. Pay Range: $28.55 - $42.85 Major Responsibilities: - Determines appropriate radiographic technique and positions patients using immobilization and support devices to ensure optimum film quality. - 1)Positions patient and adjust equipment, immobilization and support devises as necessary, using tact and courtesy at all times. - 2)Determines appropriate radiographic technique based on anatomy. - 3)Secures history from patient regarding reason for prescribed test, and records on appropriate form for Radiologists information. - Operation of radiographic, fluoroscopic, portable, computed radiography and PACS equipment to ensure quality examinations. - 1)Operates portable radiographic equipment in patient's room or surgery as required. - 2)Operates all components including all locking devises on radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment. - 3)Loads imaging cas...
