Product Engineer

Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES: - Review applications to understand technical requirements and recommend appropriate products that meet or exceed technical requirements. - As a technical contact, assure that product applications do not exceed design and performance specifications for the product. - Perform engineering calculations and present results including pipe properties, design verifications, flow mechanics and pipe sizing. - Review industry specifications and check compliance as per project requirements. - Provide engineering support for internal and external customers including Sales, Field Service, Distributors, and End Users. - Prepare technical packages for tenders and organize the technical tender documents. This includes exceptions and clarifications to the tender specifications. - Provide technical training and presentations to employees, distributors, and customers. - Develop and maintain technical information in product literature, assuring published parameters are commensurate with ongoing QC test results and manufacturing practices. - Visit job sites to resolve technical issues with design, installation and field failures and to develop a working relationship with customers’ ke...
