Job Description Summary The In-Service Inspection (ISI) Lead Field Engineer provides technical direction and oversight of Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) activities on nuclear power plant inspection projects, as part of GE Hitachi Nuclear Inspection team, supporting customer nuclear power plants around the world during customers refueling outages. The ISI team focuses on inspections outside of the reactor vessel and piping and components critical to safe operation using NDE methods. Travel up to 75% to domestically and internationally plant sites (Can work remote from US based home when not traveling) Job Description: Roles and Responsibilities: Included but not limited to: - Responsible to support planning of GEH project schedule and delivery and provide task leadership, technical direction, work coordination and supervision of work teams composed of GEH and contingent worker personnel. - Communicate with customers and supervise of up to 15 contractors and co-workers. - Prepare automated tooling and equipment prior to nuclear power plant outage inspections. - Perform drywell inspection activities at nuclear customer sites. - Evaluating and documenting performance issues at inspe...
