City/State Charlottesville, VA Work Shift: Third (Nights) Overview: Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital is hiring a Patient Care Tech (PCT) for Cornell 2, our Medical Surgical Neuro Unit. This is a full time, night shift in Charlottesville, VA. Hours: 6 PM to 6AM- Three 12-hour shifts (36-hours per week), with rotating weekends. Department/Position Overview: Cornell 2: Our Medical/Surgical Unit specializes in a vast array of patient conditions including oncology, urology, diabetes, kidney disease, COPD, and CHF. We provide a dynamic environment for experienced nursing professionals and new graduate nurses. With a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:5/1:6, you'll develop your skills while receiving mentorship from experienced staff. Operating on 12-hour shifts with weekend rotations, we offer comprehensive orientation and ongoing professional development to foster collaboration and growth in your nursing career.
