Job Summary The Project Coordinator/Construction Manager is responsible for assisting management of all construction associated with Darling and its subsidiaries. Essential Duties/Responsibilities: Nothing in this job description restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time. - Assisting in management of all construction activities that are associated with Darling Ingredients and any of its subsidiaries. - Responsible for assisting in the selection or procurement of plant equipment and listing supplies necessary for the construction of plants or facilities operated by Darling. - Responsible for the procurement, supervision, and the safety of sub-contractors hired to help in the construction of facilities or buildings. - Responsible for the supervision of Darling employees used to construct or install equipment. - Responsible for assisting in the start-up of installed equipment. - Responsible for the upkeep of tools and equipment owned by Darling and utilized by oneself or others under his supervision or co-workers. - Responsible for communicating with plant management on the proper operation of equipment. - Assist constructio...
