Date Posted: 05/06/2026 Req ID: 47910 Faculty/Division: Faculty of Applied Science & Engineering Department: Dept of Mechanical & Industrial Eng Campus: St. George (Downtown Toronto) Existing Vacancy: Yes Description: Course number and title: MIE1402F – Experimental Methods in Human Factors Research Course description: The course is intended to give students thorough training in design of experiments and statistical analysis of experimental data with additional insights into data mining and evaluation of machine learning. The course will use the R statistical package. However, the main principles of data analysis that are learned can then be applied to any other statistical package once the appropriate command language and user interface is learned for that package.
