Description The Surface Landman I is a highly motivated land professional with 3–5 years of experience supporting surface operations, drilling programs, and cross-functional field activities. This role requires strong communication skills, technical proficiency, and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and effective in both office and field environments with a drive to improve technical proficiencies. Key Responsibilities: - Secure all required surface agreements to support Operations and Drilling Programs. - Obtain all necessary state and county permits. - Serve as a primary point of contact for landowner communications and resolve concerns. - Manage administrative tasks associated with surface agreements and documentation. - Perform additional duties as assigned. Requirements: - A minimum of 3 years in land experience. - Bachelor’s degree required. - Advanced working knowledge of Excel. - Experience with Esri/ArcGIS preferred. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills. - Valid driver’s license.
