Department: Respiratory Therapy: Shift/schedule: Full Time (36 hrs/wk), Varied Shift GENERAL SUMMARY: Works under the supervision of the Manager of Respiratory Therapy. The RCP I's primary job function is to provide high quality respiratory care delivery to the SOMC patient population in accordance with hospital policy. Performs other duties as assigned. Education: Licensure: Experience: - High School Diploma or successful completion of an equivalent High School Exam Required - Graduate of a Respiratory Therapy program accredited by CoARC program or other deemed accrediting body required. - RCP(LTD) required - BLS/with re-certification every two years required. - BLS within 90 days of hire required - Ohio Medical Board RCP III license within 6 months of graduation required - Work and/or educational experience that promoted group/ team working relations is preferred JOB SPECIFIC DUTIES AND PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS: The following is a summary of the major job duties of this job.
