OVERVIEW : A Survey Project Manager prepares proposals, contracts, and reports, meets with clients, performs survey work in the field, as well as supervises and schedules in-office and field employees and tasks. DURING YOUR WORK DAY, YOU WILL: - Manage projects including developing scope of work, schedule and fee. Balance workload and resources. Support business development efforts, leading the preparation of proposals. - Recruit, hire, manage, mentor, and retain staff necessary to maintain and/or improve the team's ability to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to scope, while maximizing team efficiency, improving communication, and ensuring stakeholder satisfaction by maintaining high-quality standards; at the same time, fostering a productive, engaged, and positive workplace culture. - Develop and maintain existing client relationships. Serve as key contact with clients. - Network and develop new business. - Conduct critical negotiations and handle controversial issues. Exercise skill in persuading and negotiating on critical issues.
