Title: Director of OSHA Training Institute Education Center Institution: Volunteer State Community College: Job Summary: This position manages the operations of the College’s OSHA Training Institute Education Center (OTIEC). This position is responsible for planning, developing, delivering, and evaluating occupational safety and health training programs that align with U.S. Department of Labor OSHA requirements, the OTIEC Non-Financial Cooperative Agreement (NFCA), and the College’s strategic and financial goals. The Director ensures program excellence, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement while expanding regional impact and stakeholder engagement. Job Duties: Provides strategic leadership to ensure the OTIEC meets or exceeds OSHA Office of Training and Education (OTE) annual performance criteria. Ensures compliance with all internal and external approving/accrediting agency standards, requirements, regulations and benchmarks with regard to curriculum design and development, faculty credentials, and instructional delivery.
