Job Description: Healthcare Assistant (Dermatology) St Michael's Street Shrewsbury SY1 2HE Permanent, Full time, 40 hours per week Paying £28,006 per annum dependent on experience and qualifications Role Overview: As a Healthcare Assistant you will provide high-quality clinical and administrative support to the dermatology team, ensuring safe, effective and compassionate patient care in a private clinical setting. What you'll do: - Support patients before, during, and after dermatological consultations and procedures - Prepare treatment rooms, equipment, and sterile instrument - Assist the Dermatologist / Nurse with minor surgical procedures, biopsies, laser treatments and wound care - Apply dressings and provide post-procedure care as directed - Take and manage clinical photographs where required by Dermatologists - Accurately update and maintain electronic medical records within their scope of practice - Manage consent forms and clinical documentation as required - Assist with appointment scheduling and patient flow - Handle clinical correspondence and basic reporting using Microsoft Office - Monitor and replenish clinical stock and supplies - Maintain confidentiality and comply...
