An opportunity exists for a legal professional to join Glencore's Sydney based legal team to provide a wide range of legal services to Glencore’s Australian Coal operations. The role would suit a lawyer wanting to be exposed to challenging legal and commercial issues in a fast paced and evolving environment. This role is a generalist in-house position within an agile legal team, partnering with site mining operations, project and management teams, as well as external legal and other advisors, to address a broad range of legal matters relating to major mining assets across NSW and Queensland. In addition to the negotiation, drafting, review and management of a variety of commercial contracts, you’ll provide high quality general corporate and commercial legal advice in the areas of environmental, health and safety, property and mining law.
