Title: Adult Education Teacher (Hourly): State Farm Work Center #WED01 State Role Title: Trainer and Instructor II Hiring Range: $25.69 - $50.29 hourly Pay Band: 4: Agency: Dept of Corr - Central Admin Location: State Farm Work Center: Agency Website: www.vadoc.virginia.gov: Recruitment Type: General Public - G Job Duties: To provide quality instructions and to meet the individual needs of the students in the areas of Adult Basic Education (ABE) and General Educational Diploma (GED). Additionally, to meet the standards defined under the Commonwealth’s statutes and program certification requirements. This is an hourly position with no state benefits. Minimum Qualifications: (ABE / GED), bachelor’s degree from accredited college or university in Adult Education/Special Education or in a relevant educational field. Must have teaching experience of either 2000 Hours in the Last 5 years or 2 years of Recent Relevant Experience in Adult Education. Experience teaching adults and or youth and knowledge and experience of policy and procedure governing adult education is a must.
