Description Position Summary: The Certification Engineer I is responsible for working as part of the certification team along with the internal program team, installers, suppliers, FAA, EASA and designees to research and to plan and execute large and small scale certification programs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, other duties may be assigned: - Perform assigned certification tasks for portion of a larger certification project as directed by Lead Engineer or Manager. - Familiarize with TSO certification process for Aircraft seating products. - Work as part of the certification team to implement previously established certification basis. - Interface with internal customers to support timely project completion. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date certification records. - Compile and enter vendor testing data to support final certification. - Follow internal company processes. Education/Experience: A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required preferably in Aerospace / Mechanical Engineering/Other Engineering.
