Job description

This position serves as a senior leadership anchor within the Controller’s Group, responsible for the end-to-end integrity, stability, and evolution of the Finance operating model. Bridges the interface between local Genentech Finance, Shared Service Centers (RSS), and other Global partners to foster a culture of continuous improvement and rigorous accountability. The Opportunity: This role includes high-level strategic elements, such as defining the long-term vision for the Finance operating model, and tactical oversight of orchestrating month-end close activities. Primary custodian of the Finance "Responsible/Accountable (RACI)" framework and driver of the transition to a "Strategic Co-pilot" model, including migration to standardized Straight-Line Accruals (SLA).
