Overview Job Title: Pathology Mid-Level Provider (Pathologists Assistant) Location: Desert Valley Medical Group Victorville, California Position Type: Part-Time/Per Diem Department: Pathology / Laboratory Services The Pathology Mid-Level will work under the direction and supervision of board-certified pathologists to assist with gross examination, dissection, and documentation of surgical specimens, as well as performance of autopsy procedures as needed. This is a critical, full-time role supporting the increasing demands of our pathology services. Responsibilities: Perform gross examination and dissection of surgical specimens Accurately describe, document, and submit tissue sections for histologic processing Assist in the preparation and execution of autopsies when applicable Photograph specimens and maintain accurate specimen records Ensure quality control and compliance with all regulatory and institutional policies Communicate effectively with pathologists, histotechnologists, and clinical staff Support pathology workflow management and case prioritization during high-volume periods Qualifications: Bachelors degree in a life science field required Completion of a NAACLS-accred...
