Job description

The Building Superintendent for the Catholic Center located in Baltimore City is responsible for maintaining all aspects of the facility to ensure a clean, safe, and efficient physical plant. This position oversees building maintenance operations and ensures that building systems, equipment, and grounds are properly maintained through a structured program of preventive and corrective maintenance. The incumbent coordinates and assists with maintenance work orders and improvements to the physical plant and grounds. The Building Superintendent continuously monitors the facility, building systems, and surrounding grounds to identify potential or existing issues, determine the most cost-effective solutions, and ensure timely resolution. The role also includes hands-on maintenance responsibilities such as troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
