POSITION OVERVIEW: The Sr. Warehouse Associate is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day warehouse operations of a specific area within the warehouse to ensure all incoming orders are processed according to department defined goals, ensuring transactions accuracy and reporting discrepancies to find resolution. KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: - Oversee and direct other warehouse associates including contractors in their day-to-day responsibilities. - Prioritize workload within the warehouse. - Maintain training records for all associates. - Identify and address all safety hazards within the work area. - Participate in Lean/Kaizen, Black Belt, and other Operational Excellence initiatives. - Train new warehouse associates in material handling, identification, and system transactions. - Assist in the recruitment of warehouse personnel. - Assist in areas like shipping and receiving, unload trucks with forklift or crane, check in merchandise, match purchase orders to sales orders and distribute to sales associates for processing. - Accurately stock material physically and systematically into proper warehouse bin locations. - Read and accurately transact customer orders, work orders, shippin...
