Claims Supervisor, First Report Unit

Job description

The primary role of First Report Unit Supervisor is to lead a team of claims representatives who gather the facts of new auto accidents and empathetically deliver perfect customer service. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated history of developing people and achieving excellent results in the insurance industry. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Lead, mentor and develop a team of 5-7 claims representatives - Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced environment with strong multi-tasking skills - Responsibilities for hiring, onboarding, training and performance management - Accurately forecasting workload and coordinating schedules to meet our customers’ needs - Using data analytics to evaluate processes and improve performance - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver results - Regular responsibilities for compliance auditing and delivering feedback - Perform other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: - Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university strongly preferred - Minimum 4 years of insurance experience - Working knowledge of Microsoft Products (Word, Excel, OneNote, etc). - Working knowledge of ClaimsPro, FNOL, Verint, Avaya, CMS, and Image Right. - Excellent v...
