The BlueCard ITS Applications team is seeking an experienced Software Engineer! In this role, you will support critical BlueCard claims processing by maintaining and enhancing internal‑facing applications while helping modernize legacy systems. Our team works with a variety of technologies, including C#, MQ Series, Java, WebSphere, Linux, Windows, etc. Ideal candidates will demonstrate adaptability, teamwork, and the drive to deliver on their commitments. Our ideal candidate will bring: - Experience with C# - Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server and IBM DB2 (or other relational databases) - Strong understanding of data models and formats including XML and JSON - Excellent written and verbal communication skills Note: - Experience with Java and WebSphere Application Server are a plus - Experience with migrating legacy applications to modern applications using C# and/or Java - Experience developing solutions that consume and write to MQ Series queues (or other messaging platforms) - Experience integrating on-prem solutions with cloud-based services - Incident troubleshooting and root cause analysis background - Experience working on an Agile Scrum team - An on‑call rotation is requi...
