Supervisor - Mechanical Assembly Location: Houston: Employment Type: Full time: The Opportunity: The Mechanical Assembly Supervisor is responsible for managing the workflow of their team(s) by assigning tasks, work orders, supporting staff, monitoring results, and reporting to the Production Manager. They contribute to the efficiency of their department by reviewing and improving processes and setting targets for their teams. Provides Team Leads with information, materials, and training, enabling them to produce the highest quality product possible, monitoring records for attendance, payroll, production, safety, and ISO (quality). Encourages the development of ideas from other supervisors, team leads, and employees. What you will do?: - Devise work schedules and implement deadlines. - Planning workloads, work orders, allocating tasks, and monitoring progress against targets. - Ensure timeliness, safety, and quality of material movement. - Responsible for safe work practices, maintaining a safe work environment and ensuring work crews follow safe practices and HSE programs, including Lock-out Tag-out. - In conjunction with the EHS Manager, trains employees on changes in safety regul...
