SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This role does not have supervisory responsibilities. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Set up and operate manual milling machines, lathes, grinders, and other machine tools. - Operate conventional mills, lathes, drill presses, saws, and grinders - Work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to create production tooling - Complete set-ups and operate equipment with minimal supervisions/assistance - Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, GD&T, and work instructions. - Select appropriate tools, fixtures, speeds, and feeds for efficient and accurate machining. - Perform in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, CMMs, and other measuring devices. - Adjust machine settings to maintain tolerances and meet quality standards. - Troubleshoot machining issues, including tool wear, material inconsistencies, and programming errors. - Maintain accurate production records, including job travelers, inspection reports, and equipment logs. - Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure safe, reliable operation. - Work collaboratively with engineering, quality, and production teams to improve processes. - Co...
