Senior Quality Engineer

Job description

This position requires candidates with a passion for getting things done — we work in a fast-paced, agile environment where code is deployed into production every 48 hours; but we are moving toward a full CI/CD model to deploy code on demand. Join our team and get ready to play a pivotal role in helping ensure the quality of our deployed software. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: - Become a subject matter expert in UWM’s applications, automated testing tools and testing/defect management - Design, build and manage automated test frameworks and scripts - Actively participate in UWM’s Agile culture and framework (i.e., Continuous Improvement Culture, Scrum and Kanban Frameworks) - Carry out functional and non-functional testing, including web accessibility, product app security, server-side load and performance, and client-side page speed - Review results of automated tests and taking appropriate action (i.e., file defects, updating test code/data/configuration, etc.) - Ensure that any areas not covered by automated tests are validated via alternate mechanisms - Improve product and code testability by influencing design at the architecture phase - Collaborate with other functions, including p...
