How you make a difference The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a vital role in patient care by contributing to the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Working under the supervision of RN(s), the LPN provides direction and guidance in patient education and activities that align with their education and demonstrated competencies. Additional Details: PRN requirement is 4 shifts per month, with one being a weekend. Admittedly this position will be helping more frequently with our open MHC position, but once that is filled the candidate will really only be covering vacation or call-ins; so that 4 shift requirement will need to be flexible in my opinion. Additionally, shift times will be 8hr shifts from 0700-1530 (This can be slightly flexible as well as long honestly, as we have coverage during normal business hours). Qualifications & Requirements: Education: - Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
