Schedule: Part Time Rotating Shifts Department Supported: Public Safety: Work Location: Arnett Hospital: Primary Responsibilities: Conducts rounding and foot and vehicle patrols in and around properties that are owned, leased or occupied by IU Health. Responds to calls for service. Enforces and assists in the enforcement of IU Health rules, regulations and policies. Provides direction and guidance to team members, guests and patients. Assists teams with de-escalating tense, uncertain and emotional situations. Investigates criminal activity and vehicle crashes as needed. Maintains records and logs and completes written reports as required. Performs physical security screening as required. Creates a safe healthcare environment for team members, patients and guests. Performs other duties as assigned by the chain of command. Required: Preferred: With 15 hospitals, including seven with Magnet designation and eight with Pathways to Excellence designation, our team members are leading the way through excellence. - High School Diploma/GED is required. - Requires 0-2 years of relevant experience. - Requires current non-restricted Indiana Driver's License. - Must not have convictions for fel...
