Summary: Provides hands-on daily work of machine assembly operations. Will work under limited supervision from the Repair Center Supervisor. Reads and interprets blueprints and engineering instructions. Uses hand tools, power tools, measuring devices and electromechanical equipment. Education and Experience: High school graduate or GED preferred plus trade knowledge equivalent to completion of an apprenticeship program. Typically has 5+ years of machine assembly experience. Some experience as a working supervisor preferred. Principal Duties: - Day to day responsibility for disassembly Inspection, documentation, balancing, assembly and testing of all machines processed through the repair department. - Read and follow proper shop procedures.
