Cost and Value Engineer

Your Role We’re hiringa Cost and Value Engineer to lead design-to-cost, sourcing, and industrialisation for our Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) products. You’ll pair deep technical insight with commercial and manufacturing know‑how to cut cost, improve manufacturability, lift supplier performance, and help us scale production in a fast-moving startup. This is a hands-on, high-impact role in a fast-moving startup environment, where you’ll challenge designs, influence key decisions, and implement practical improvements without compromising quality, safety, or reliability. Your mission: - Value Engineering & Design Optimization: Drive cross-functional DFM/DFA and value engineering initiatives. Review designs, technical drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) to identify and execute opportunities for cost reduction, complexity minimization, and accurate cost estimation. - RFQ Management: Lead the end-to-end RFQ process for components, assemblies, and manufacturing services.
