Job Description Are you ready to lead offshore operations that directly support safer coastlines, resilient infrastructure, and the global energy transition? As a Barge Master with Fugro, you’ll be responsible for one of our large accommodation Jack-Up Barges (JUBs) and marine operations that power essential site investigation and offshore projects across the UK and Europe. Your leadership will keep our people safe, our assets performing, and our clients’ missions moving forward. You’ll report to the Resource Manager UK Land and work hand‑in‑hand with Project and Vessel Managers, shaping a truly collaborative One Fugro culture. This is an offshore role with management of 24/7 barge operations on rotation, with 4-6week shift schedules during campaigns. Your role and responsibilities: Expectations & Deliverables: Ensure the safe, efficient operation and maintenance of a large liveaboard Jack-Up Barge (JUB), upholding Fugro’s Life Saving Rules, values, and project documentation at all times.
