Job description

Coordinates the overall Information Systems and Operations with the objective to support the needs of teaching, administrative, research and student functions of the University. MAIN DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES & OBJECTIVES: - Develops a comprehensive strategic plan that integrates IT strategies and resources as per the goals and objectives of the University. - Identifies IT requirements and prioritizes current and future resources to accomplish the IT strategic plan - Provides leadership with the continuous investigation of new technologies and product available in the market. At the same time recommends the acquisition of those products that will satisfy University’s initiatives and priorities - Develops information GDPR policies, security policies, technical standards, procedures and controls that will ensure efficient and secure environment. Maintains compliance with University’s policies by monitoring operations and implementing corrective measures as needed - Provides direction and leadership in the review of present IT systems and assets, and in the development/acquisition and deployment of new assets and revised systems.
