Bargaining Unit: UUP Job Summary: The Department of Clinical Laboratories, Blood Bank at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University is seeking an hourly/per diem Clinical Lab Technologist 2. The successful candidate will: - Perform all aspects of Blood Bank testing, including but not limited to: ABO/Rh Typing, Crossmatching, Antibody Detection, and identification with appropriate follow-ups. - Maintain quality control of equipment and reagents. - Manage meticulous record keeping and utilize follow-up skills. - Demonstrate flexibility as duties and responsibilities are not limited to the above position description.
