Job Description: The Department of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences (SLHS) https://slhs.phhp.ufl.edu/ at the University of Florida is recruiting one (1) Audiology faculty position at the assistant or associate professor rank. This is a full-time (1.0 FTE), tenure track, 12-month position. Successful candidates will demonstrate expertise in any area of audiology or hearing sciences. However, areas of research or clinical practice that emphasize psychoacoustics, cochlear implants, medical audiology, and/or hearing conservation are most desired. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching, mentoring, research, and service in a dynamic academic health center environment. The department is committed to hiring and supporting candidates who will contribute both collaboratively and independently to externally funded research.
