Stantec is seeking a qualified, energetic, self-motivated, and resourceful Environmental Scientist / Environmental Planner to support our Environmental Services group. Grow your career with a leading environmental consulting firm serving a wide variety of private, federal, state, and local government clients in Maryland, Washington DC, Virginia, and the surrounding region. Your role will be to provide technical support on a variety of ecosystem projects (stream to wetland focused projects), performing technical feasibility studies, analysis, conduct field work (including monitoring inspections and/or construction inspections), and supporting our environmental services related teams. Your role is to work with general supervision and direction, independently, and as a team member on environmental services related projects. You will prepare assessments, studies, sketches, memos/reports, coordinate with internal and external team members, and assemble data for the project engineer, project manager and/or end client.
