Provides basic nursing care to patients, under direct supervision of RN; assists RN in observation and care of patients in assigned area(s). Demonstrates proficiency in delivering care to assigned age-specific patient population (e.g., infants, adolescents, adults, geriatrics, pediatrics), and participates in related continuing education. Required Qualifications: - Coursework/Training: MOAB I/II within 30 to 150 days of hire for employees in Emergency Dept. - Coursework/Training: Satisfactory completion of training for Nursing Assistants. - Upon hire: California Nursing Assistant Certification License - Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association - Within 30 days of hire: California Fire and Life Safety Card - National Organization - Sufficient clinical experience.
