Winpak Control Group Inc. is seeking a Press Operator to join our Printing Department based out of Norwood, New Jersey In this role, you will operate and maintain flexographic printing presses to produce high-quality printed materials that meet customer specifications. You’ll ensure consistent color, registration, and print quality while maintaining adherence to safety, cGMP, and production standards. This position plays a key role in supporting Winpak’s ongoing commitment to operational excellence, safety, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: - Operate, monitor, and adjust press equipment to meet quality and production goals. - Read and interpret job spec sheets to ensure proper materials, inks, and tooling are used. - Perform setup, color matching, register adjustments, and ink viscosity checks. - Conduct in-process quality inspections for color consistency, print registration, and adhesion. - Troubleshoot and correct printing, mechanical, or web handling issues to minimize downtime. - Maintain compliance with all safety, GMP, and housekeeping standards. - Train, guide, and communicate effectively with press crew members and supervisors.
