This position is responsible for testing experimental or prototype mechanical parts or structural products by conducting tests and recording results at various stages of the production process to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products. Candidate must be able to train on first shift. Job Description: Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Performs and documents preventative maintenance - Examines parts for conformance with dimensional specifications - Understands the necessity of instrument calibration and notifies supervisor when calibrations are due - Sets up equipment and conducts tests in accordance with established test procedures - Coordinates and participates in installing unit or system to be tested in test fixtures, connecting valves, pumps, hydraulic, mechanical or electrical controls, cabling, tubing, power source, and indicating instruments - Measure and pour specified tes...
