Central Maine Medical Center , a member of Prime Healthcare, is looking for a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Gastroenterologist to join its established and expanding Digestive Health program in Lewiston, ME . Position Details: - Will be employed by Central Maine Medical Center, a Prime Healthcare affiliated hospital. - Hospital-based role providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient gastroenterology care. - Gastroenterology (BC or BE). - Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures including EGD, colonoscopy, biopsy, polypectomy, hemostasis, dilation, and PEG placement. - Diagnose and manage gastrointestinal conditions including IBD, GERD, liver disease and hepatitis, pancreatic disorders, and GI bleeding. - Collaborate with hospitalists, surgeons, oncology, radiology, and primary care teams. - Participate in call scheduling, quality improvement, peer review, and patient safety initiatives. - Eligible for or active Maine medical license required.
