Salary/Position Classification: - $18.50 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime) - 20 hours per week - 100% Remote Work Availability: No - Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No Purpose of Position: This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position. Duties & Responsibilities: This position provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience with qualitative and quantitative analysis of real-world data and to contribute to research workflows that may support publications, presentations, and proposal development. - The student will support mentor-led research projects and assist with preliminary work related to ongoing and upcoming research efforts. The student’s work may include the following tasks: - Gather and organize data from approved sources (public datasets, sensors, instruments, and/or model outputs). - Pair or align datasets in time and space when needed (e.g., observations with related contextual data). - Process and analyze datasets by computing summary statistics, creating basic plots, and running quality-control checks. - Support feature extraction or structured dataset creation. - Docu...
