Job description

Basic Purpose Provides a wide variety of distribution engineering services and technical support encompassing service reliability, voltage levels, area capacity, and problem solving in the service area. Ensures adequate customer service by optimum, cost-effective design, and planning for system additions and modifications. Provides a direct interface with customers for engineering and power quality problems. Reviews and approves Distribution Design drawings, provide technical design estimates, and supports the technical discovery process. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Ensures the integrity and knowledge to serve through the application of engineering expertise in the design of distribution facilities in accordance with corporate guidelines, industry standards, current construction codes, governmental and environmental regulations and customer service requirements. - Provides engineering support for the Distribution Design process by reviewing and approving design drawings, providing technical design estimates, and providing technical support for discovery process. - Investigates and resolves customers' existing power quality problems including recommendations concerning...
