Senior Quality Engineer

Job description

Prysmian is looking for a Senior Quality Engineer to work i n the Wrexham factory within manufacturing of power cables and network comp onents. As a Senior Quality Engineer , you will have a broad range of responsibilities in order to ensure that products and processes meet quality standards, customer expectations and relevant regulatory requirement . The role involves monitoring, testing and improving manufacturing processes to enhance product quality and repeatability as well as working on reducing variations and cost of poor quality . The role requires a high level of, both, hands-on and soft skills, such as teamwork , communicatio n , leadership and coordination competencies. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Developing and maintaining quality control plans and procedures for different product families according to existing standards and specific customer requirements . Ensuring the correct application of work instructions and quality control plans together with applicable QMS procedures. Managing customer quality claims, including intercompany issues.
