Job description

Operator Proficiently operate one or more pieces of equipment in a safe manner to manufacture high-quality products within a high voltage cable production environment. Areas of Responsibility: - Safely operate and maintain cleanliness of equipment used in cable manufacturing while meeting quality standards. - Interact effectively with Man Machine Interface (MMI), including shop floor systems and operator displays. - Read, understand, and follow Standard Work Instructions (SWIs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure proper equipment operation and product quality. - Complete and maintain all required operational paperwork and documentation. - Enter and manage production data within MMI or touch screen systems, including daily reports, tally sheets, and scrap tracking. - Use and maintain hand tools required for equipment setup, teardown, and operation. - Perform quality checks and inspections to verify product specifications using tools such as micrometers, OTDR, gauge block microscope, and related equipment.
